Comment: Deleted file recovery is still the worst part about using iCloud Drive

Image
I love iCloud Drive, and I’ve been using it as my primary file storage method for a couple of years at this point. It took off for me once Apple debuted the Files app in iOS 11. Once Apple added the ability to sync the desktop and documents folder in macOS Sierra, I had true files happiness. Even without folder sharing (which is finally available), I had been using iCloud Drive for 99% of my file sync needs. The only thing I am not using is the legacy shared folders I have in Dropbox. My biggest complaint about iCloud Drive is that the deleted file restoration pales in comparison to Dropbox. more… The post Comment: Deleted file recovery is still the worst part about using iCloud Drive appeared first on 9to5Mac . source https://9to5mac.com/2020/05/10/icloud-drive-deleted-files/

Rumors: iPhone 12 Pro to feature ProMotion high-refresh rate screen, improved Face ID, 3x rear camera zoom

Image
Max Weinbach’s latest reporting as featured in EverythingApplePro’s video  indicates that the iPhone 12 will feature a high refresh-rate 120Hz ProMotion display. Or at least, only on the iPhone 12 Pro phones: that’s the high-end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch models. The phone will dynamically switch between 60Hz and 120Hz modes to conserve battery life where appropriate. This is similar to the ProMotion system available in the iPad Pro for a few years now. To support the 120Hz feature, the internal battery is also growing in capacity to maintain good battery life even when the phone is refreshing the display rapidly for extended periods. more… The post Rumors: iPhone 12 Pro to feature ProMotion high-refresh rate screen, improved Face ID, 3x rear camera zoom appeared first on 9to5Mac . source https://9to5mac.com/2020/05/10/rumor-iphone-12-pro-to-feature-promotion-high-refresh-rate-screen-improved-face-id-3x-rear-camera-zoom/
